Mountain Biking
The Bulkley Valley is prime mountain biking country. Scattered throughout the area are trails for all ages and abilities. The 13 km Perimeter Trail offers gentle biking around the town of Smithers to residents and visitors alike. For serious bikers, stop by McBike shop on Main Street to pick up a map of "The Bluff" trail network. These trails will test the ability of any biker. For true mountain biking, however, look no farther than Babine Mountains Provincial Park. The trails designated for bikes make excellent day trips up to the alpine.
