RV & camping sites within easy walk of downtown Smithers. Situated on the banks of the beautiful Bulkley River surrounded by a picturesque view of the Hudson Bay Mountains.

Directions: From the junction of Main Street and Route 16 in downtown Smithers, turn up Main Street (away from the downtown core) and drive to the top of the hill. On your left will be the "Hilltop Inn". Drive down the hill and look for signs directing you to Riverside Municipal Campgrounds. Turn left.

Description: Campgrounds are directly beside the Bulkley River, only a few few minutes drive or walk to downtown Smithers. Space for tenting and RV parking. Beautiful views of Hudson Bay Mountain and Babine Mountains.

Playground. Nearby access to "Perimeter" walking and biking trails. Close to two golf courses. Located beside the Bulkley River.

Gates are closed from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Smithers Olympic Torch Relay Event

Day 93 of the Olympic Torch Relay saw a massive event in Smithers, coinciding with the ‘Spirit of the Mountains’ winter festival antics on Main Street.
