Lake Kathlyn is a beautiful lake just minutes from downtown Smithers. The public beach has basic services, including benches and picnic tables, change rooms, and portable toilet facilities. There is no running water. Lake Kathlyn is perfect for swimmers and those in paddle craft. Fishing is also possible from small boats. The day use area is maintained from May - September.
In the winter months once the lake freezes, this is great area for ice skating, pond hockey and cross country skiing.
