Kispiox River

This beautiful river is a major tributary that joins the Skeena River north of Hazelton. Famous for its Steelhead--release restrictions. There is an angling closure from January 1 to June 15. Coho may be caught on a catch and release basis only.

From Route 16, turn north at New Hazleton, crossing the bridge a few km north of town. For the most part, the road follows the river. Many access points.
