An adventure playground for tots and younger children conveniently located directly adjacent to Route 16, in the heart of Smithers.

Directions: Park is located directly adjacent to Route 16 between Manitoba and Toronto Streets.

Description: The Kinsmen Adventure Playground is part of a larger "Heritage Park" complex consisting of the Civic Center, Curling Rink, Bulkley Valley Pool, skateboard park and several ball fields. There are numerous hotels and motels within a 10 minute walk of Heritage Park. Access to Smithers' unique "Perimeter Hiking Trail" is only blocks away.

Smithers Olympic Torch Relay Event

Day 93 of the Olympic Torch Relay saw a massive event in Smithers, coinciding with the ‘Spirit of the Mountains’ winter festival antics on Main Street.
