Holiday On horseback, ride the trails of the Bulkley Valley.

GRC is situated 20 minutes east of Smithers and 20 minutes west of Houston, the office and barn is at the main house located on Larch Road parallel to Highway 16 on 250 acres of rolling hills, hayfields, bush and meadows. Horse trails and wildlife trails weave across the property. Plenty of opportunity for wildlife and bird viewing. 190'x90' riding arena, 6 outdoor horse pens, and 12 natural tenting sites, with plenty of horse trailer, camper parking for your convenience. From this location you can access all horse trails of the Bulkley Valley and any local horse shows, gymkhanas and clinics. Cerified CHA ridng instructors on site 24/7.

Smithers Olympic Torch Relay Event

Day 93 of the Olympic Torch Relay saw a massive event in Smithers, coinciding with the ‘Spirit of the Mountains’ winter festival antics on Main Street.
