Looking for a nice and quiet getaway, then come and relax at this new Bed & Breakfast, located only a few minutes west of Smithers near the airport and Highway 16, on Lake Kathlyn.



The Guesthouse has a view of the lake and of Hudson Bay Mountain and its glaciers. The property is five acres and has a nice wilderness area on Kathlyn Creek. A trail leads from the house to the creek where ducks, geese, beaver and otters can be seen. Canoes are available to explore the lake. There are also hiking trails near by for the nature lover. Other activities like rafting, trail riding, canoeing on the river, sightseeing trips, helicopter hiking, mountain climbing and float plane flights can be arranged with local operators. For guests who are arriving by train or plane, we offer pick up service from the airport or the train station.



A full homemade breakfast will be served in the sportsman’s roomin the main building.

B.V. Guesthouse offers two units each with two bedrooms and four beds, with private bathroom for a party of 1-4 people.



Unit 1: Is a guesthouse with mountain view besides the main building. Includes a bedroom, full bathroom, kitchen corner, living area with natural gas fire place in the main floor and an open loft with two beds upstairs.



Unit 2 : This has a separate entrance on the lower level of the main building with a lake view. There are two rooms for up to four people with a private bathroom.
