Proud supporters of the annual Midsummer Festival!

The Bulkley Valley Folk Music Society is a nourishing body for the musical soul of the Bulkley Valley in northwestern British Columbia. We are a thriving community of creative and talented musicians and appreciators. We are all ages, shapes and genres. We host 2 Guitar Camps each year - one for adults and one for youth - that draw teachers and students from across North America. We host a music festival each summer for 30+ inspiring acts and 3,000+ attendees who travel here from the across the north as well as the globe. The BVFMS is located in Smithers BC, the heart of the Bulkley Valley, approximately half way between the major centers of Prince George and Prince Rupert. We are proud to offer several programs that support musicianship in the valley, including:

* The Midsummer Festival
* Le Potpourri Coffee Houses
* Adult Guitar Camp
* Youth Guitar Camp
* Ongoing Concerts and Dances
* Bursaries
* CD Duplicator & Sound Equipment

Please join us in our music making mélange, whether you are a plucker, a plinker, a yodeller, or a thinker. Everybody is welcome. Enjoy our website and let us know if there's anything we can do to help you on your musical path.
