Directions: Drive east of Smithers on Route 16 for 6 km. Turn left onto Babine Lake Road and drive to approximately km 34. Turn left onto Cronin Creek Road. You may drive the rough road to the bridge, beyond which is the Parks Branch gate.
Description: Cronin Creek Trail is a good access point for those looking for more rugged areas of the Babine Mountain Provincial Park. The highest point on the road is a good place to start an ascent on Mount Cronin, the highest peak in the Babine Mountain Provincial Park at 2380 meters. The trail provides excellent cross-country ski conditions during winter or mountain biking during summer. Exiting the Provincial Park can be done through Silver King Basin and then Driftwood Canyon Provincial Park to the Telkwa Highroad.
