Caring for Children Recognition and Awards Gala

The Bulkley Valley and Area is holding it’s first time ever “Caring for Children” Recognition and Awards Gala Dinner & Silent Auction on Saturday, April 19th, 2008 at the Hudson Bay Lodge in Smithers.

This event is sponsored and supported by Child Care Resource & Referral Program, School District 54, Bulkley Valley Credit Union as well as many other agencies and local businesses.

Tickets for the Gala are available for $25 at the Child Care Resource & Referal Program and Speedee Interior Stationary. This is a community event, everyone welcome!

“Make Children First” in the Bulkley Valley, northern British Columbia, focuses on Early Childhood Development (families & children from preconception to 6 years of age). This new community partnership is committed to promoting diversity and the equal rights of all children and families to optimal development and well being. While our program serves the Bulkley Valley in northern British Columbia, similar programs are emerging across the province.
